Competition Rules
The Shore Bowl competition rules are essentially identical to those of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl final competition. Please visit the NOSB web site for the complete competition rules. Each coach and team member should review and be very familiar with all the competition rules prior to the event. Note that at NO time during the competition are coaches, alternate team members, or audience members allowed to make any challenges. Challenges can only be made by competing team members during the course of an active match.

Preparation Resources
Competition content is generally targeted at the high school Advanced Placement and Undergraduate Introductory level. Individual questions, however, may differ in difficulty based on the topic and their placement in the competition structure.
