Today's weather: Partly cloudy skies with a high temperature of 75°F. Predominate winds from the south at 12 kts.


Today's Boat Assignments:

Arabella - Replace Node A CTD profiler. Deploy S4 at Node A for shallow water directional spectra.

Caleta - ADCP/CTD survey along Central A-line.

Northstar 4 - Zooplankton pump sampling

Zodiac - REMUS long-range navigation tests and docking

Northstar 6 - Deploy REMUS navigation buoys out to station A-5. Deepwater test of Webb Multi-Trip Drifting CTD.


Today's highlights:

Successful REMUS docking at Node A

Dock test of NUWC turbulence REMUS. Seatech ADV running well.

Webb Multi-Trip CTD successfully deployed at Station C near the moored ADCP and thermistor string. Five profile mission completed.

Zooplankton samples at 6 stations for studies of surfclam settlement.

Central A-line surveyed by Caleta 3 times (2 full legs, 1 half leg)

Divers perfected swapping out the Node CTD profiler floatation. Joe Dobarro drew no blood.
